• Have completed a nursing program at an accredited college or university and received their nurse diploma and nurse license (or right to practice nursing) from their home country;
• Passed at the graduate level the US Immigration-approved English exams that evaluate their speaking, reading, and writing;
• Signed a contract with GMSN to commit to a 3-year position as a registered nurse at a US hospital of our choosing;
• Had their educational and professional credentials evaluated by the US Immigration-approved and Board of Nursing-approved agency to determine that they are comparable to a registered nurse in the US in every aspect;
• Completed the NCLEX-RN course and passed our ERI Nursing Assessment;
• Passed the National Council Licensure Exam for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN);
• Received a Visa Screen Certificate (the Certificate requires the CGFNS exam or the NCLEX to be passed as well as an approved english exam, and that the nurses’ credentials were evaluated successfully);
• Completed a criminal background check with the Board of Nursing;
• Received their US Permanent Resident Card and Social Security Number (they receive a Green Card not an H1-B Visa)
•  Received your state's Board of Nursing RN License;
• Received and accepted an employment agreement with your Healthcare System to work at your System for a period of three years.
