Global Medical Staff Nursing, LLC (GMSN) was organized in 2002 as Strategic Staffing Resources, LLC to recruit, select, and prepare skilled international nurses for work in the United States. GMSN has operations throughout Eastern Europe and Africa, and has its headquarters located in the US in Greensboro, North Carolina.

With the cooperation of the Ministries of Labor and Health, Nursing College Administrators, Chief Nurses, and hospitals, GMSN is able to recruit the top tier of the nursing population in each of the foreign countries and US cities in which the Company operates. 

GMSN has a series of predictive exams and uses practice exams from various education companies to evaluate the skill level of each nurse so that only the best candidates are chosen for the program. Hospitals can be assured of getting highly qualified nurses with a skill level at least comparable to that of a recent US graduate. Our GMSN International Nurses also possess excellent language capabilities, strong ethics, and cultural sophistication.

GMSN has gone through many changes over the years with our hospitals, our offices, and US immigration, but we are still dedicated to helping foreign-educated nurses become nurses in the US and providing US hospitals with our nurses. We have maintained our offices in Hungary, Romania, Moldova, Ukraine, and Nigeria where we actively recruit nurses and provide them with all of the preparation, applications, tests, and licensure required for immigrating to the US and working as a Registered Nurse in the US. We have our US headquarters in Greensboro, North Carolina but work with hospitals in multiple states.

How GMSN is Different

There are numerous small companies recruiting nurses in the English speaking source countries, but relatively few companies recruiting in non-English speaking countries. Typically, those recruitment activities consist of newspaper advertisements with web and e-mail follow-up. GMSN has adopted a different strategy. We hire personnel for offices in our European source countries, establish innovative recruiting channels, and provide qualified candidates with additional nursing knowledge and preparation. We currently have offices in Hungary, Moldova, Romania, Ukraine, Nigeria, and the US (Greensboro, NC) and have recruiters in many other countries. The scope and scale of in-country activities differentiates GMSN from other recruiters and allows the recruitment and selection of the most qualified and US market-ready candidates. We also apply for immigration for our nurse so they are able to receive their Permanent Resident Card (Green Card) instead of a temporary visa. GMSN nurses sign a contract to work for 3 years at a US hospital, but their Green Card allows your hospital the opportunity to retain your nurse for life.
